William Deen, shackles on wrists and ankles, admitted Tuesday to stabbing to death an 85-year-old Laurel resident for $30 in a plea deal that will spare him a death penalty trial.
Deen admitted to killing Nora Peters at a trailer park on Ellisville Boulevard in the early-morning hours of March 31, 2014.
