BBC presenter strips nude in skinny dip shock

Wildlife presenter Kate Humble truly embraced her natural side when she went starkers for a quick dip.

The 49-year-old shed her clothing as she skinny dipped while filming for BBC Two programme Kate Humble: Off the Beaten Track.

Laughing hysterically as she joined fellow skinny-dip fiend, Natasha Brooks, the broadcaster said: "I can't speak because it's so cold!"

Kate jumped in the river in Llynnau Cwm Silyn, Wale, as she pondered whether she was brave enough "to immerse herself" in the cold waters.

Artist Natasha explained: "As soon as you get rid of the swimming costume, there;s a sensory difference. It's freer.

"I feel it's healthy to shed my layers and be me.

"If you do it often, the shock [of hitting cold water] goes away. It makes you feel alive and it's overwhelming."

Listening to Natasha's passionate description of skinny-dipping, Kate ruefully replied: "Well, I've got to try it now."

After swimming in the nude for a few moments, a freezing Kate retreated back to dry land, shouting that her companion was "amazing" for staying in the freezing waters.

"Just swimming with every part of you in contact with the water is the most exhilarating feeling," she said to the camera as she towelled off.

"I feel 20 years younger, I feel completely reinvigorated. It was properly lovely. I loved it."

But stripping down is nothing new for the Springwatch host, who has previously admitted to hardly wearing clothes when holidaying in France.

Speaking to The Sun, she explained: "We have a shack in France by a lake and I hardly ever wear clothes when we’re there and I swim naked.”
