I Finally Found a Wire-Free Bra That Lifts and Supports

As a former fashion designer turned shopping editor, I know what I like, and I’m not in the business of settling for anything less than the best. My jeans need to have the right amount of stretch, my shirts can’t be too snug under my arms, my underwear has to be bikini-cut, and, most importantly, my bras cannot have an underwire. 

The latter has become a non-negotiable for me when lingerie shopping, and setting this precedent, shockingly, has allowed me to actually like bras again (I know, gasp). In fact, I recently bought this four-pack of wire-free bras from Rene Rofe, and I won’t stop talking about how comfortable they are; not to mention, they offer tons of lift to my B-cup boobs.

The wireless bra comes in a pack of four with a variety of color options like black, white, beige, gray, and pink, plus in sizes ranging from a 32A to a 40D. It features a classic hook-and-eye closure at the back, adjustable straps, T-shirt-like fabric that’s moisture-wicking and oh-so-comfy, and flexible foam cups that offer extra coverage and support. The bra goes seamlessly under fitted tops and has a deep V-neckline that’s good for wearing under low-cut tops.

The fabric is super soft and non-irritating, and the padding, while giving the illusion of volume, also offers extra coverage under body-hugging pieces. It’s also breathable enough that I stay cool while wearing it for my high-intensity workouts, and everything remains in place when I’m doing my cardio. Lastly, the quality of this bra is unmatched. I know they say you aren’t supposed to wash your bras, but I do, and this wire-free option has held up immaculately — even without being put in a washer-friendly bag.

What’s more, I don’t have the biggest boobs, but it’s always nice when I find a bra that gives the illusion I’m working with a bit more; Rene Rofe’s bra is that bra.
