Supermodel Linda Evangelista wants to stay single because of her biggest pet peeve

Supermodel Linda Evangelista is happily single and not ready to mingle anytime soon for a surprising reason.

The 58-year-old fashion icon, who has been named one of the most accomplished and influential models of all time, gets candid about her life in an interview regarding her next adventure. The celebrity, who is the mother of a teen son with business tycoon François-Henri Pinault, wants her new chapter to be around nature…but getting a spouse is not on her mind.

Supermodel Linda Evangelista has reason for staying single

Linda Evangelista knows exactly what she wants from her life and it is definitely not a life partner. The celebrity shared her reason for staying single, revealing: “I don’t want to sleep with anybody anymore. I don’t want to hear somebody breathing.”

Linda has been away from the limelight since her ‘Coolsculpting procedures’ mishap, where she experienced deformity of her face after a cosmetic procedure went wrong. The model opened up about her struggle with multiple “unsuccessful corrective surgeries” and eventually agreed a settlement with the company in 2022.

After making peace with the cosmetic surgery failures, Linda addressed her fans in an Instagram statement, explaining her plans for the future.

“I look forward to the next chapter of my life with friends and family, and am happy to put this matter behind me,” the model noted in July 2022.

Linda’s next adventure

Along with her cosmetic surgery issues, Linda’s health struggles also included a long battle with breast cancer; the supermodel revealing that her cancer returned after a bilateral mastectomy in 2018.

Her fight with cancer is not stopping her from experiencing life, with her future plans including “not staying in New York.”

“I want to hike and be healthy, and work, I want to be a nanny to my grandchildren. And I want to move to the desert where my lungs won’t hurt.”

Evangelista is also grateful for living her life amid a cancer battle. “When I see someone and say, ‘Oh, I haven’t seen you in so long, let’s have dinner together,’ now I really mean it.”
