Play was paused during the Welsh Open snooker final after a fan was taken ill, forcing both players to leave the table.
As Martin O'Donnell seeks out his first title and Gary Wilson looks to add to his part for Scottish Open titles, the pair saw their anticipated clash put on hold due to an ill fan in the crowd.
With the match paused, the fan was treated, and the WST announced that she was able to walk out of the arena on her own before play was resumed.

Wilson had stormed to a one-frame lead after he put together a lovely 98 break, but play was quickly stopped as the second frame got underway.
Security personnel in the arena were quick to react to the issue, and play was only halted for around 20 minutes after the woman who was taken ill was cared for.

Taking to social media, the WST stated that the woman was able to safely walk out of the arena under her own power, and hopes are that she will be fine.
Play got back underway just in time for Wilson to take the second, third and fourth frames in a match that looks to be going the way of the Tyneside Terror.

If Wilson is able to use his early momentum to take the title, it'll be his third-ranking crown, having already claimed the Scottish Open title in back-to-back years from 2022 to 2023.
His much less experienced opponent O'Donnell is appearing in a ranking event final for the first time, and will have some job to overcome Wilson.
He did take out reigning world champion Luca Brecel to make it this far, however, though Wilson himself claimed the scalps of John Higgins, Robert Milkins and Jack Lisowski on his way to the final including a cracking 147 against the legendary Higgins. The match-up should hopefully make for a decent final.
